Join the Jumanji    Wilderness Survival Experience  for our 2 day Survival Course.  The course will be held on my property along  the Rio Tomebamba in the beautiful and warmer climate of Challuabamba  just 10 minutes east of Cuenca.

This course is limited to 4 to 6 guests and is geared towards anyone who enjoys the outdoors and wishes to learn some basic wilderness survival skills....While having a great time.  A truly unforgettable experience!

 

This course will include 7 essential wilderness skills:  Each skill will be instructed with and without (McGuyver style) the use of basic survival tools.

 

Fire Craft & Warmth

Shelter Building 

Signaling 

Water Gathering & Purification

First Aid & Survival Kits 

Fishing and Hunting  Techniques

Weaponry, including the proper usage and safe handling of knives, hatchets and machetes. 

 

 

Time: 0800 hrs. to 1700 hrs.  

Includes round trip transportation, welcome coffee or tea & lunch.

Pick up location will be at the Bocatti Deli at the south end of Solano Ave. just across from Tres Puentes    Pick Up at 0800 hrs sharp.

Parent or guardian must be present for Youth course only.

 

 

Adult and Teen Courses are 2 days   $90 per guest     Older teens may join adult course.

Instruction and activities for the Youth course are adjusted in regards to that age bracket

Set your kids imagination and adventurous spirits free as they  learn about the natural environment and the important skills of wilderness survival.  No matter what their background is, from never having camped before, to the most experienced nature enthusiast, they’ll have a blast.  This course also promotes confidence, having a positive survivor’s mindset, team building skills as well as ‘out of the box’ and improvisational thinking.

Improvised Weaponry
Included are two additional activities...Tomahawk and axe throwing and slingshots
Tomahawk Throwing is an approved BSA, Boy Scouts of America activity

The slingshot was the first product WHAM-O made, and it gave the company its memorable name. “WHAM-O” was the sound the slingshot’s projectile made when it hit its target

My father made me my first slingshot from a branch and inner tube.  My second slingshot was a WHAM-O. Redhead kid with a slingshot in his back pocket...That was me. Slingshot $1.50   Bag of marbles 15 cents,  The sound of an exploding bottle....Priceless.
